Dr. Eric Torgerson grew up in Fort Collins and completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado State University in 2003.  He attended Pacific University College of Optometry and graduated with distinction in 2007.  While attending optometry school he was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society for academic excellence and served as president of the Pacific University College of Optometry chapter. His optometric training included rotations throughout the United States with emphasis in ocular disease, vision therapy, and contact lens fitting, and also included training at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany. Following graduation, Dr. Eric joined his father in practice at Vision Eyeland and has enjoyed practicing full scope optometry since then.  His areas of interest include specialty contact lens fitting, ocular disease management, refractive and cataract surgery co-management, dry eye management, pediatric vision care, as well as general family eye care.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Colorado Optometric Association, and is currently serving as president of the Northern Colorado Optometric Society.  Dr. Eric and his wife Jenny have a young son and enjoy spending their free time outdoors and traveling.

In 1973 Mrs. Torgerson received her diploma in Nursing from Hennepin County General Hospital School of Nursing. Similar to her husband, 12 years after earning this initial degree, she furthered her education by earning Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Viterbo College in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. A Registered Optometric Assistant and ABO certified optician, she is currently the manager of the office.

Optometrist Dr. Michael Torgerson and his wife, Optician Joy Torgerson founded the company in 1991 with a dedication to provide high quality eye care services to their community. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota, Dr. Michael Torgerson pursued his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. His degree was awarded in 1977. 12 years later, Dr. Torgerson returned to school, earning his certification in therapeutic pharmaceuticals for the treatment of eye diseases from Southern California College of Optometry, University of California at Fullerton. His emphasis in his career has been family vision care, with special attention given to children's vision and contact lenses.

He enjoys motorcycles and golfing.

Dr. Cynthia Musante grew up in Fort Collins. She was inspired to become an optometrist after completing Vision Therapy training in high school and working as an Optician and Optometric Assistant. Graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2011, with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Anthropology, she proceeded to obtain her doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry in 2015. She graduated with honors and enjoyed volunteering over 100 hours of vision screening to the local community. After completing rotations in Broomfield, Oregon, Washington D.C., and California, she is excited to return home and enjoy her favorite hobbies: hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and yoga.

Originally from Illinois, Dr. Nicole Ethridge attended the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign for her undergraduate studies before completing her optometric education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. During her training, Dr. Ethridge completed internships in a variety of specialties including ocular disease, pediatrics, traumatic brain injury, and specialty contact lenses. She became heavily involved with the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA), where she served on the Board of Trustees for two years and then as the national Secretary during her third year of leadership in the organization. Dr. Ethridge has been consistently recognized for her clinical and academic performance. These distinctions include induction into the Gold Key and Beta Sigma Kappa International Honor Societies and several noteworthy scholarships. She proceeded to complete additional residency training in ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas through Northeastern State University College of Optometry. During her residency she gained extensive experience in the treatment and management of glaucoma, retinopathy associated with systemic diseases like hypertension and diabetes, neuro-eye diseases, and fitting of specialty contact lenses. In her free time, Dr. Ethridge enjoys running and spending time outdoors with her goldendoodle puppy Reggie.
